We are thrilled to introduce our new feature—AI Instructions—that takes your messaging experience to the next level. This feature is designed to give you more control and flexibility when interacting with AI in DMs and lounges. This feature is accessible to users across all tiers.
Functionality
The Send drop-down is a new icon that appears in the message bar as soon as you start typing. This replaces the previous "AI mode" field located on the send button.
When you press the send drop-down icon, the message bar expands, and a new prompts field opens up.
The text you've previously typed moves to this new prompt field. You can then generate text based on your prompt or even edit the generated text before sending. To cancel the prompt, you'll notice an "X" icon next to the prompt bar. Pressing this while the text is generating will revert the message bar to its original state.
Using reply will help carry the context of the conversation into the AI instructions. By using the Reply feature, you can provide additional context and information to guide the AI's response. This ensures that the AI understands the conversation history and can provide more relevant and accurate answers. It's a powerful tool for maintaining continuity and enhancing the conversational experience.
